State: Wisconsin I owe my divorce lawyer money and my check was garnished starting about a year ago, then I owed about $6,500, I get paid twice a month and the lawyer has been getting 20% ($355.00) of my check for a year. In June the lawyer stated I owed about $3,000 so from that point I started keeping track of what I have paid and what was owed. As of today my records showed I still owed $755. Which mean at the end of October '09 I would have been paid off.

Ok, backstory. I'm about $85K in debt to four cc companies. About 45 days late. Till today, I've gotten tons of alls but I never pick up and they never elave messages. Today I got a call from a senior manager at one of the companies, Advanta. He left a message. He says he 'wants to help'. He's 'stopped the collection calls for now', and it's his job to try to lower interest rates and make a payment plan to get this taken care of. Well, I dont want a payment plan, I want to settle. So..my question..do I call him back?

How many times does Clearwater Bay deduct from your checking account before it is paid in full?

Does anybody know if you have to call to have it paid in full, or if they take it out automatically. I have tried calling several times, but no one ever returns my call and I never get an email in return. They have deducted $60 four times now, and I was wondering what I should do, or if they pay it down in $50, or pay it off on the 5th time. HELP!!
