Mostly students are unemployed.Is they have to give income proof to lender? Whats the terms & conditions will be applied for student loan.

I'm currently 8 months behind on payments for my vehicle. It has yet to be repossessed. It is a BMW M3 that I owe $25k. Do you think the bank would be willing to settle instead of going through a repo? Or should I re-finance? I was out of a job for 6 months and living paycheck to paycheck. I'm now back on my feet and this is my only form of debt. Any advice would be great!

I joined a few weeks ago, after months and months ( after years ) of struggling to keep making minimum payments and finally getting toa point where the interest rates were too high. It was the CC's or my mortgage. I've posted a little bit alrady, but just as a refresher... After doing a ton of research and joining this forum, I decided to try to settle. I have an 'angel' who is going to pay the amounts I would need to settle. I will pay her back a little every month at a rate I can afford.

so I know it has already been posted a couple times about the scam where people are receiving calls saying that they defaulted on a payday loan and if we don't pay right now they will be charging us with federal felonies.... Well I too got one of those calls about 10 minutes before my 6 year old sons birthday party started. It has been a little while since I have been on the forums so I was not aware of this particular scam. The men that I could barley understand gave me my full name, social security number, birthday, address, phone number, bank name and routing #.

Hey Guys I heard that if you have on your credit report a charge off that is more than 7 yrs old, it just goes away? any truth to that? If thats the case then I have a few, and will probably need to call all three credit bureaus to get it off my report. Thanks in advance for any info!

Hello all. I discovered this site while searching for reviews on destination debt soutions. After reading posts, i may try to domy own work. I put a freeze on my checking account. Anyway I live in PA I have three active online PDLs. I am paying about $700.00 in interest and fees twice a month when my check hits the bank.

I have a legal store front PDL. I've been making my payments but, they do not do the EPP's. My loan has to be rolled over because I can't pay it off yet. My question is will all of the illegal IPDL's be able to get my new account information if I give it to the legal store front PDL?

How do you find out what the SOL is for a debt? I have 3 very old credit cards that have been in collections for over a year and a half. I neve rhear from 2 of the companies and the third calls every once in a while. Why aren't the all bugging me incessantly? Is this normal? They are pretty large amounts.

I received a civil summons today, and I was just wondering about something.. My court date is not listed on this page. Is this normal? I have 30 days to file my answer, but shouldn't there be a court date? Also, I have read some good things about the just got served ebook, but I am currently with a D/S company, that I plan on talking to tomorrow. Of course, I am tied up another settlement, that will have the last payment in October. That is why I was wondering about a court date and all... Final question, should summons have court date on it? It was served by the police.
