I have to pay the marshall for a debt to amex it wasnt a good negotiation as i did not know how to proceed now I have to pay the marshall once a month for an old debt it still has a huge balance

I will not be able to close my account until Monday or Tuesday morning due to a pending item. If my loans are due to come out on the 31st- if I sent my letters on Tuesday would that legally be enough time? If I get my account closed, I know they won't be able to debit it but I want my new account covered too. Please advise and thanks!

Ive just been summonsed to court for an unpaid CC. If I set up debt consolidation before can I avoid hving to go.... if not what will happen if they order me to pay.. what expenses do hey take into account... will they take my vehicle?

They said they would negotiate with all three creditors to lower my monthly payments, reduce the monthly charges and fees, and improve my credit history. NONE of this has happened.

I recently borrowed some money to purchase a car and the bank is insisting I list them as a "lein holder" or "loss payee" on my insurance. I have borrowed money 3 other times over the years to purchase vehicles and I was never required to do this. I looked through my loan documentation and I can not find anywhere in the wording that specifically says list them as a "lein holder" or "loss payee" and I am wondering if this is something than can enforce.

About 4-5 months ago, I started receiving phone calls on my cell phone from a number I didn't recognize. No voice mail was ever left but every day, they would call about the same time...sometimes twice a day. Finally, I answered the phone to a guy that sounded half stoned on weed that was basically telling me I owed $531 to the US Dept of Treasury for my GI Bill. He said I was overpaid but as he went into more detail, it says because I didn't complete classes I signed up for during a time period I wasn't in school.

PLEASE help, I'm severely freaking out! My wife and I are set to close on a house on the 31st, and I feel sick. Will this in any way affect the closing? OK, background: 1st Resolution claims I owe them $7044 from a debt that was first delinquent 6/2003 according to Equifax. I lived in Virginia at that time (3 year SOL), currently live in MA (6 year SOL). Sent a DV back in 2007, was sent a copy of a filled out credit card application with a number hand written on top, along with a letter saying my account was being transferred to a legal office.

I have recently filed for chapter 7 bk. the only things i own are two cars, one that i am returning to capital one and another one that has a titleloan on it that i want to keep. i know i can reaffirm this and it was in my petition, but do i have to do anything else to reaffirm the debt? do i contact titlemax or does my lawyer or the court? I live in alabama.

Can I get forbearance on a defaulted student loan?
