Hello I have several payday loans. I have been trying to pay them off, but I am having difficulty. I live in NJ and would like to know if they are legal and is ther anything I can do to just pay the principal. Should I close my checking account? Thanks

Why is actual credit score different than what true credit reports? I applied for credit and the company who did a credit check showed me my scores. They were higher than what true credit reports them to be.

Hi, I am a canadian with a US credit card in collection now. No job anymore(hoping) no way to pay it at all at the moment. I get atleast 25 calls a day from there recorded message. is there anything they can do to collect from me in canada. I am also in bankruptcy in canada now but was not able to put them on my list. any ideas.

I am a single mother of 2 and receive no child support which is why I ended up in this mess. One high energy bill literally led to a crushing avalanche of pdls. About a month ago i took out a payday loan well my work hours got cut and now i can't pay back the loan is there anyway i can make arragements with them? its 1000cashovernight.com i can't find a hard address for them anywhere but i do have an email address. hi all- I've read all the sticky's on dealing with illegal lenders (and I sure am!!). I cannot close my account just yet due to some direct deposits that can't be switched over in time, however, I was going to ask my bank to do the hard debit block. I bank with National City and I just wondered if anyone else has ever done this with them? They are truly not the most customer oriented bank so I am a little worried about the run around they'll give me. It's also a joint account so I don't know how that all plays into it.

Recently, the AG of Minnesota also has Mann Bracken and the NAF in its sites. Let's see Georgia, Neveda, New York...and now Minnesota. Venture to guess that both Mann Bracken as well as NAF will soon have to stop all debt collections period and or face some serious criminal charges?
