Hi Everyone, I am hoping that someone can help me. I am trying to find out if the online payday loans that me and my husband have are legal or illegal and if they are illegal how do I deal with them and what measures do I take. We live in FL so I am not sure what the FL law is: Payday Loans: Summit Grp LLC - 250.00 Payday-loan-yes.com - 300.00 Loanpoint USA - 300.00 Payday1 - 210.00 StarCash Processing - 250.00 National PDL (this is what showed up on the deposit) not sure which payday loan - 300.00 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Instantcashusa.com sent my account to Accounts Recievable Management, these people are really rude, I've contacted the powers that be in the state of NJ were they are located. I will not pay 540.00 on top of the 180.00 I've already paid out. I tired to settle the account for the 120.00 I owed, instantcash has many names and from what I found out they are not licensed any where not even in the state that they reside, which is oklahoma. what the heck should i do next, as I want these people to stop calling me. I shouldn't have to pay out 540.00 for an illegal loan.

Is there a difference between payday loans vs short term installment loans?

Hi, I started a business back in 2005 and applied for a AMEX GOLD Business under my Corporation. When I applied, I do not recall that I signed an agreement that made me personally liable for the debt should something happen. I applied for the card online using my Corporate name and TIN (tax id # of corporation). In 2007, I closed the business paid as much of the debt off from the liquidation, but did not file corp bankruptcy because i could not afford it. The only outstanding debt the corporation had was the AMEX bill for about $12K.

Anyone with any experience with them or any other company like them please let me know, do they really help with improvement of your score, if not them are there other companies like them that work better?

Can I still get a secured card even if i'm currently in a debt management program or will banks deny me because of that

If I were wanting to put together a website where people could find a searchable list of Debt Settlement companies with reviews, complaints, ratings, and comparative statistics(admin fees, settlement percentages, TASC and BBB accreditation/complaints received)... What kind of information do people look for when they're looking for a company to settle their debt for them? I began working for a company that does this kind of work, and I really like what they do for people...

question?................. I just defaulted on 2 PDLs, I had more but got them all paid except for these 2. payday one $500.00 (nothing paid) cashnetusa $500.00 (paid $143.00) I just defaulted this past week, and now I get anywhere from 5 to 10 calls per day. I have asked and tried to work out payment plans with both. Neither will accept. How do I get them to work with me? So now what do I do and how can I get the calls to stop.

Hi all, Just talked to the CA, they said "good news" my rehab loan will go to a Direct Loan. They said the interest rate would be 8%, the same as the original loan and that penalties would be dropped Looking at the web, the Direct Loan site says this about interest rates: "those disbursed between July 1, 2009, and June 30, 2010, have a rate of 5.60%." Since the rehab loan will be considered a brand new loan, am I entitled to a new interest rate? Also, CA said that the interest rate for a defaulted loan is 17-25% this sounds very odd. Is it true? So, I sent an email over the weekend to MCN and other loan companies I have dealt with, regarding my revoking ACH approvals. I get paid tomorrow, so I wanted to be safe. I have JUST received the email back as undeliverable. Does anyone have a fax number for My Cash Now that I can get it to them quickly? Just a bit of information...everyone has all these different addresses for My Cash Now...why is that?
