Does anyone know of a good bank that will approve a new checking and/or savings account for people on ChexSystems?

I owe a very large sum ($50K - I know... :oops: ) to AMEX and of course, it has gone to collections. I pay AMEX, not the collection agency every month. It is not the amount they want because I cannot afford $5K a month but it is something. The collection agency calls all the time and threatens putting a lien on the house. My question is this - can a lien be put on a title and/or property without any notice being given to the debtor? I thought you had to be served by the court but I am not 100% sure. Any help would be much appreciated.

does the dealer have to allow you to remove your personal items from the car if it has been repoded. The car was wrecked and the dealer was not notified. He found out when the car was repossed. Now he says that I cannot get my personal belongings out of the car until I pay to have the car repaired.

i signed up for 2 payday loans one for 200.00 payback 60.00 thru ezpaydayloans.com and 125.00 from loanbyphone lbp payback is 146.00 when i got these different people have debited my account now my account is overdrawn i went to my bank and filed a complaint they ae closing my account and now i can't pay back my loans. I live in alabama and am not sure the laws on that. I plan to pay them back but i will probably need to pay on payments. What can they do?

Back in 1989 before I went to college, my aunt opened up a credit card account to help me build credit. She had one card and I had another each with it's own account number. I received my bills she received her own bills. I closed my account around 1995. She kept her's open. I moved to AZ two years ago, lived here for a year and bought a car. All of sudden I'm getting collection letters for her account. The amount owed is almost $6000. I have sent her two letters via certified mail asking her to resolve the issue. She hasn't made a payment me in over two years.

I'm very new to this...I haven't seen any posts on experiences with the program or counselors from the site itself, Debt Consolidation Care.

if this company is calling looking for someone you do NOT know and will not stop calling, tell them to "Cease and Desist"

I have revoked their ach rights two times now. I have also made payment arrangements with them concerning this account, however they are still attempting to collect via ach. How can they do this? I have everything to and from them in writing. We have closed our bank account out (but had to leave it open for one last check to clear) and my friend at the bank called to tell me that they were once again attempting to debit the account. We did a stop pay but ack!!!! Will they ever stop????? Is there any place I can file a complaint? Chrissy

I'm looking for addresses for the following payday loan companies: Salary Fast Upfront Money And I'd like to verify: Payday Max. I called them, but the recording goes really fast...not sure I got it right. Can anyone help?

I am being taken to court for non-payment of $5000 owed to this company.I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH EITHER. The account was sold to American Debt for collections. Court is Friday. Anybody else encounter this company with a similar problem?
