word of advice to everyone about to close their checking account... Please remember when paying legitimate recurring bills that you have paid online or by phone to UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER WITH THEM TOO! I have now paid 2 bills using my closed account because I didnt update information that was stored in their system. One I have paid using the new account already, but they took info over the phone last time and didnt update their computer. I noticed the payment had not posted and called this morning to see if they had submitted it and they had under the old account.

Hello, I have a question: I am currently looking to purchase my first house. I currently make 43000 a year and my credit is excellent! (780) I only have one other payment which is my car which is 300 a month. First: How much would I get approved for? and 2) I have someone that will be living with me but filed for Chap 7 about 6 months ago. He will be helping out on the pament but I dont want the person on the mortage with me. How would I be able to out his income as part of my payment without him on there? Any help.

Hi, and thanks ahead of time for anybody who can help me. I have always been on top of my credit and never had any problems paying off CC bills, etc. March of 2007, my boyfriend and I purchased a motorcycle and the Loan office set up a loan for us. My boyfriend was the one who handled it, and according to the guy helping him he said as long as he paid 200 a month until 4/5/12 he would pay off the bike without interest. He signed off on it. At the time we were both working and could handle the 200 dollar payment and found it to be a great deal!

I am about to sign a contract with Debt Rx USA and I wanted to get some freeback to make sure they are a legitimate company and that I won't be getting myself into further trouble. I have read through their paperwork and everything seems up to par but any recommendations or advice before I enter into payment with them would be greatly appreciated. If anyone else knows of a good debt settlement company and has recommendations please let me know.

I am going to go by my bank and stop the ACH withdrawl for my loan with goodtimecash.com, my question is this, as the loan is due to pay tomorrow, has anyone had experience with the companies running it through as a different company name, and if so, how long before they run it through again? I know they can, but I figure if I can stop the one in the morning, then I can run to the bank and close the account really quickly to avoid anything else.

Hi all, I just checked my bank account, and there is a pending deposit of $400 from VIP Loan Shop. I am uncertain of where the loan came from because I don't remember filling out an application for them. I do remember being in the process of filling one out (signed electronic sig but didn't fax any paperwork), but I closed the window in the middle of the transaction. I think this is probably that loan, and I have no issue if it is because I applied for it and that means I owe it.

I am getting frequent calls from Oxford Management regarding a student loan for my son that was cosigned by my Mom. My name is not on the loan. My son has a job which is paying him just enough to survive, and my Mom has had some serious health problems recently (lung cancer). Can anyone help me figure out the best way to handle this? Thanks
