Is there any law offices that never charge you big?

My home now is on foreclosure. I heard loan modification is best option. Is this true?

today a debt of 138$ appeared on my EX credit report. it only stated the amount, the original creditor, BofA, and that the account was open in February 2009. I know I did not open anything this year. I did deal with Bank of A in the past but I am not aware of any debt. This si by Enhanced recovery corporation out of FL. I will send a debt validation letter and woudl appreciate and advice on what else I can do. they do not list when the thing is set to fall of the report. when a CA buys a debt may they listed date opened as the day they bought it. thanks!

Hi everyone!! Just wondering if anyone has heard of this compnay, and if they are legal in California. I recieved a $500 loan via the internet and now am paying a set fee of 79.02, which includes a new finace charge each time. to date, I have already paid $ 474, and once i am done, I will have paid $948.24!! IS this legal?

I live in Phoenix and had some bad issues with PDLs about 2 years ago and had my account with WaMu closed due to overdrafts etc.,...I have a bank account with a credit union in North Carolina...I've been using that account for over a year now...I ordered new checks through my credit unions website and they sent me confirmation that the order was processed by DELUXE...OH NO!!! Can they close my account if any negative information is sent back to my bank?

Hi everyone! it looks like this site has helped a lot of people, and I was not aware of the legal issues concerning online payday lonas. I have four loans out right now, that I recieved on the internet. They are: FBD Loans.com The VIP Loan Shop.com The Cash Spot.com and.. PayDay Max.com Can you please help me find out if these are PDL's and if they are legal in CA? I am already having trouble with a couple of them...Also, if they are not legal in CA, what should I do?

Hi all! I am new to the boards, but not new to messy credit (lol). In all honesty, husband and I are finally at the point where we can begin to dig out of the mess that 3 pregnancies of bedrest helped create. No more babies for us :wink: Most of our credit issues began when I lost my job in '02 due to bedrest with baby #2-went from making $60,000 in '01 to less than $20,000 in '02. I was off work for 7 months and everything went nuts. After being told that we couldn't have any more children #3 and #4 soon followed-so much for medical expertise.

has anyone ever been sued by this company? they have been calling and leaving the same pre recorded msgs for a few months, and i hae never recievd a letter? today they called my sister and said i needed to call someone there named rose and left an extension, by 8:00. and that they had court papers bearing my name and social security number....i know it is most likely reguarding an online payday loan...that is the only thing my sisters name and number would have been on for me....so most likely it is illegal....should i be worried?

I have one more thing that I would like to ask: If they do keep hounding me..should I mention the Kansas vs. Quick Pay Day Loan federal case where the court ruled that internet loan companies had to abide by the state laws where the borrower lives...or just hang up on them?
