Hi, I got a call from somebody (a blocked number) telling me that they were trying to serve me papers, verifying if i was going to be at my house (he never confirmed my address), me not knowing anything about this procceded to ask the person about such case, to which he responded i needed to call a number and give them my case number (which he gave me) to inquire about it.

got a call saying I was being served between the hours of 8 & 11 on april 15th why would the call and say that

Hi, I received a call today stating that I have a pay day loan that is in default. They have my social security #, and old email but that is it. They threaten me with jail time. Said they were going to serve me papers for court. I do not have a loan and therefore have no proof of this. I asked what bank was this supposedly depoited into and they could not give me that information. I am now scared. I have agreed to pay them back even though I do not have one out because I do not want to go to jail.

Hello All, I just found out that I have been sued in a J.P.Court by Midland Funding over a past credit card debt. I have 10 days to send a reply back to the court. My question is : I have found that Midland has filed this case in the wrong venue, since I don't live in Harris County, Texas. Do I ask this JP Court to dismiss case? Should I expect Midland then to refile in correct venue, or will they just "go away" ???? :-)

I have sent letters, revoked ACH etc for both companies (2 loans each). I received a response right away on one of the Mobiloans accounts stating they would consider the account paid in full. This was only on Friday, but I have not heard anything from the others and the principal is paid (even overpaid and I requested a refund). One account is locked and the other two are saying to call to make payment arrangements. How long does it usually take to hear from these two companies and how long should I wait to send another letter? Any and all help is very much appreciated. :)

I live in Georgia and have 3 pdl's in Tennessee. I understand it is not legal in Georgia but it is in Tennessee. Can I get out of these loans?

Cash Call (Western Sky) is claiming that they are legal and will report my miss payments on my credit record. I have offered a settlement to pay the principal back but they refuse. Do I have to notify the credit companies?

I had a conversation an account supervisor who wanted me to pay today without an agreement. I did not take it and got them down to 39% and a letter in the mail. I will talk to them once I have the letter on Friday. I think they are just trying to get money without anything in writing. Then I don't have a leg to stand on. I had to keep saying I could not pay anything until I speak w other creditors. First they wanted a small payment to even take a settlement offer to management. Next they said they would take 20% if and only if I let them take an auto withdraw today from my checking.
