I am being harrassed by 4MoneyandMore out of California. My ex-boyfriend put my name and number on his loan application and he hasn't paid it back. They continue to call me, harrassing me, threatening me, they have even called my SISTER and done the same. We have filed harrassment reports with our police department. How do I get this man to stop calling me? I have told him, I have argued with him, I have contacted the police, I have hung up on him

Is the correct reporting date on a credit report the date the orginal creditor sells it to a collection agency?

I am a medical transcriptionist. I worked at a hospital making good money. After working there for 14 years, they closed the department and I got work as an at-home transcriptionist. Then off shoring really took hold and my once fantastic paycheck when down to minimum wage. I filed bankruptcy thinking that would help but the bills kept coming and my pay did not go up with the new voice recognition system like they promised. I ended up taking out some payday loans with the intention of paying them back but that did not work out.

Has anyone heard of "RBG Loans?" This may be a payday lender or similar type "loan company," but I just received a phone call from someone reresenting them, offering me a "$300.00 loan." I said NO and hung up. The amount sounded an awful lot like the most popular amount loaned by payday lenders, so if anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it. My internet search didn't shed any light on this.......... thanks

I applied for a loan from this company and have tried to make the minimum payment but my balance does not go down. They have a 96% interest rate, is this legal? I was aware of this when I took the loan, but at that time I was in desperate need of cash, and it is very tempting when they send you a letter telling you it is guaranteed that you will get the loan and very easy. Now I cannot seem to get rid of this loan, and it is up to 3900 on a 3000 loan i took.

Hello, do to the economy and such, I had fallen on hard times. I foolishly thought that payday loans were the answer to try to get me through. It feels like I've been paying some of these forever and the balance somehow always remains the same. I'm from Massachusetts here and from what I've read from fellow posters, Online Payday Loans are strictly prohibited in Mass. I'm not sure what to do or how to start with each of these pdls. They've kept my account in the red far too long and I can't seem to make any headway with them.

Hi, We had 4 payday loans, closed our accounts, sent cease and desist letters, etc back in April. Well, today at work my husband gets a call from a company named LRA 866-520-1240 and stated they were hired by National Payday Loan Company to collect on this debt. They stated if we didn't make payment arrangements that they would contact his payroll department to garnishi his wages.

Hi all Questionf or you I recently retained payday loan debt assistance to help me get out of the trap of the 6 payday loans i have. So far all the collection calls have stopped. Most companies have been willing to work with paydayloan debt assistance. There is one who hasnt. That one is USFASTCASH. They are trying to tell they have never accepted or will ever accept any money from them. Can they legally do this??
