Can a debt collector or payday loan/credit line rep come to your home for payment if it is not a car, furniture, etc. and what is the statue under the federal fair debt collection practices

Just had a lengthy update about WS/CC stuck for review by moderator - in the Payday Loan Help forum, can one of you see if you can extract? - I thought the problem was over and didn't save! Please and Thank You!!

I realized today that I had not received anything from Cash Call since the last mailings dated Feb. 23rd, 2013.. So I decided to log in to see what was on the account page.. this is what I got... "The login information you used indicates the loan is being serviced by Delbert Services. We provided the link for your convenience. Please use this link in the future to access your account online. Thank you." I have not received anything from them Delbert Services or even notice from Cash Call / Western Sky that it was being turned over to a third party for collection..

im a bit lost and confused on this one . recently i got a message from an LVNV saying that i will be served on a certain day and all that nonsense.. i went back and checked and saw that they made an inquiry but for some reason they didnt post the account that they have me in collection for. in anycase i had panicked a bit and called and i dont work so i agreed to a settlement with them which they did email to me. they also claimed they had some statements and something with my signature and that theyd send it.

In the past couple of weeks I was left a couple voicemails from a CA saying I have until the end of the month to call them for a settlement on a Private Student Loan I defaulted on back in 2010 or the offer was OFF the table. This is the second or third different CA thats contacted me about this same debt but this one definitely seems pushier than the rest. I have not yet called back them but did receive two different dunning letters from them about a week after the initial voicemail was left.

I recieved a $300.00 loan from them and i didnt fill out any paperwork to accept any loan from them and they never recieved any email or phone # to contact them

The plaintiff is Barclays Bank Delaware. The name listed as attorney is Blatt, Hasenmiller, Leibsker & Moore, LLC. I am from Chicago and after doing some googling it seems like this law office is really sketchy. Anyway, I got a summons issued on 3.7.13. The return date is 4.1.13. According to the notice on the back of the summons, the plaintiff has to select a return day "not less than 28 days...after issuance of summons." I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure that's less than 28 days.

I have three illegal (at least I think ) loans left. I live in Missouri and have already closed my bank account and revolked ACH with these companies. American Web Loan 600 paid 715 PayDayMax 510 paid 470 Americash 400 paid 245 American Web loan I have overpaid and will be happy is I just get a pif letter from them. How do I go about getting one. PDM is contacting me from a company called Credit Protection Depot. The keep sending me e mails thanking me for making payment arrangements to send them $200 thru Western Union. I have no idea what they are talking about.

My paycheck was just garnished for $422 for defaulting on my student loans. Is there any way to stop the wage garnishing? Can you negotiate a new payment once garnishing has begun??
