Hi there everyone! So here is my story. I am 20 years old, married and have a one and 1/2 month old baby girl. When I turned 18, I started receiving credit card offers in the mail and thought it would be awesome to get just ONE credit card for "emergencies." My first card was with Discover Card and it had a $900 credit line. So within the first 2 months, I maxxed out the card because of course, being young and naive, I spent it on stupid little things when I go shop and DINING OUT was the worst. OH! And don't forget that I am 20, and LOVE to shop.

I dont usually post information but I feel that God has pointed me in this direction. I joined Christian Debt Consultants in mid 2006. I was able to settle the majority of my debt within 2 years and settle my final accont within the next 6 months. I cannot say the process was easy, I got severeal calls from my credit card company and the companies that represented them. I called Irvin and after a week or two the calls stopped. I got out of debt for about 55% of what I owed but this was within a couple of years, not decades.

I have been getting calls from leadng edge recovery when i called them back they needed my last four digits off my social security number which i did not give they then were rude to me and told me that i had a outstanding debt from 2003 from a credit card that isnt showing up on my credit report. Can they potentially add this to my report, and should i send them a debt validation letter. Or should i just let it go they have the right address but the name they have is mispelled and is a partial of my last name.

I have to say my situation has improved so much since I first found this forum and got a TON of help from you guys a few months ago. :D I've brought my checking account current (from being overdrawn $600 because of those PDL jerks) and got BofA to put a balance freeze on it. I also received a PIF letter from CashNetUSA after a LOT of phonecalls panic attacks. All I have left is MyCashNow and Payday One. Now. I know MCN is totally illegal, so I got a letter together outlining the laws of Arizona and told them to kindly eff off.

I HAVE A JUDGEMENT FOR A CAR ON MY CREDIT REPORT. I THOUGHT THAT IF THE CAR COMPANY WAS GOING TO AUCTION THE CAR AFTER VOLUNTARY REPO THEY HAD TO LET YOU KNOW. THEY ARE NOW SAYING IT WAS AUCTIONED AND I OWE 13000. IS THERE ANY THING I CAN DO? SHOULD I GET AN ATTORNEY?

Anyone familiar w/these two ca?? good? bad??

what debt collector call from an unavailable number and simply says your first name on the answer machine? they say several times trying to trick you into picking it up as if they were someone who knows you-but just hangs up when you don't answer? happens atleast 6x a day when i am at work..

ok i did it! some pif, some settled, some pfd, and they are all showing zero balance!!!! but my problem is my score-its mid 500s..and i want to raise it...i would like to buy a home in the next year or so, but i know i have alot of work left to do. the only open positive account i have is my car loan-paid as agreed..what should i do to raise my score? my negs will start falling off this summmer--do i need more debt to get a good score?

I too am a victim of these rats. They said they were calling on behalf of my payday loan that I defaulted on in 2007. Do the payday loan companies use these people to collect the money and make huge profits saying interest and fees? If not, how do these people get all your information, they almost have to get it from the payday company. I owed 396.00 and Dufrost got 542.00 out of me, and of course the phone number is disconnected to Dufrost LLc the very next day after you make your payment. Can anyone help with these people.

I had a payday loan April 2007 that I didn't pay. How long can they collect on this? I already got ripped off from Dufrost LLc and paid them over 500.00 thinking it was this payday loan.
