I have unable to pay my mortgage and maintenance fees with the management agency of my coop apartment. I have recently received a "notice of debt collection" in the mail. Included is a verification listing the months that I have paid and unpaid. What do I do at this point? Can I send them a Debt Validation letter? I would like to dispute it, but I don't know which letter to send. Thanks!

Once again asking about Zest Cash, now known as Spot Loan. NOT spot on loan. Zest Cash was legal when I took out the loan, then they changed to Spot Loan, which is tribal. I guess I am just still trying to confirm that the loan is illegal, since it is now tribal with Spot Loan? I got a collection letter from Stellar Recovery about this. I just want to make sure I have the right information before I continue not paying. Thanks again...

Hi - I took out an $800 loan with these guys a few weeks ago. I revoked ACH privileges, and now they are calling me about 25 times per day. They say my only option to NOT pay the full balance ($1,008 -- includes the CSO fee) is to go online and refinance. Basically, I'd pay $200 to buy me 2 weeks, and then the $1,008 would come due again. This is not possible for me. What happens if i just keep ignoring them? Does PDO send it to collections after a certain time period? Or will they sue me or try to garnish my wages?

I received a notice of tax deficiency from the IRS, detailing a $7694 debt chargeoff from cache llc. I received no calls or written notification that cache had acquired this debt. Do I have any recourse with the IRS ?

Hello If I agreed to pay a collector but then changed my mInd can I Hv the $$$ placed bk n acct by bank. I made a huge mistake bc of collector using a tactic n knowing I had a loan out there from years ago. But the thing is he couldn't tell me the exact store front loan place. I know it was foolish on my part. I've never been so gullible. Do u thk my bank will refund my $$$ if I do a claim. O he also said we need u to sign a form stating u won't stop payment. So Ive closed my bank account and sent ach revocation letters to PDL's... i have yet to hear a response... just a "0.00" of next amount due on 500 and us fast cash page.. my next pay date is friday.. i guess thats when i start getting calls. I'm just afraid of these guys calling my job. How can i avoid of this happening?? Dont want a lot of people at my job know my business. Help!!

Long story short, I had overdraft protection on my checking acct at TDBank. I failed to make payments and they closed my checking account. AFTER the account was closed, an ACH transfer was made into my account. I know from the dollar amount on collection letters I received that the ACH transfer was applied against the overdraft line. The TL on my CR shows a balance way higher than what I know the outstanding amount owed to TDBank should be.

Today I closed my account. They even said they would put my tax return on a exceptions list and transfer it to my new account which we made sure wasn't link to my old account. I was so happy to hear that! I would have had to wait 8-10 weeks if it bounced back. Tonight I emailed my 4 payday loans. Just waiting to hear back! Feels good nobody will be taking anymore of my money!

We are trying to settle some old repo accounts and in researching and preparing I noticed that one account with has a balance that seems to increase exponentially rather than decreasing. The original judgement that they got was for about 9k. My wages were garnished for a while to the tune of about 5k. Instead of a 4k plus judgment interest balance, they are reporting that I owe close to 13k! From 11/11 to 01/12 they increased the balance by over $2000! There is no explanation for this increase. In other months they are tacking on $123 a month. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
