I'm starting the process of trying to clean up my credit report. Per protocol, I'm starting out by disputing all of the negatives on my credit report. I am monitoring my FICO score thru ScoreWatch on MyFico.com. I just received a notice that my score dropped nine points. The only change on my report is that I disputed a bunch of items yesterday. Are they allowed to do this? They drop your score when all you're trying to do is correct wrong information?
