Here is my situation, i was getting ready to file for bankrupcy because i've fallen so behind on my accts there is now way i can off my debt, especially now that i went from a 60k a year job to a 27k job. My father told me not to file for it b/c most of these acct will come off my report in 2011-2012 (7year rule). and the bankrupcy stay with you 10 yrs, and from what i understand it stay on your report forever(public record) is he correct? Also i have a jugdement agaist me for a cycle loan that was totalled and loan defaulted.

So how can I go about getting refunds from the PDL companies that I have paid thousands to over the last few months in finance and "refinance" charges? i am trying to repair my credit , i recently was discharged from the military and have found no work. i want to know if settling or only paying a portion of the balance will hurt my credit any more than it is now, bills are 8 months past due

My deceased father opened a credit card for me in my mom's name while they were married. I became unemployed and could not keep up the payments. Creditors Interchange (CI) has threatened to prosecute me criminally although as long as I had the card I made substantial payments. They have also threatened to put a lien on my moms house. I have explained that the debt is mine and I would be glad to pay again when I get a job. Any help?

I had already called and made arrangements to settle two of my payday loans with the last ACH withdrawel coming on on 1/30. My problem is now, it looks as if these two lenders were doing business illegally since I am in the State of Arizona. I have calculated out what I have paid, and OMG.
