Does this really work?

Hi. I got a call from a consolidation Co. about my wife's payday advance loans. Many of her loans are from groups that people on your site have bad things to say about. This group said they will use Federal Regulation E to consolidate her loans so she pays only a few Hundred $'s a month. I'm cautious but want to help her. After three different phone transfer's i got a man at Payless Financial Group. He was very helpful until i told him they would have to wait about a week for us to use there service. He didn't even give me a web site to check his company. Do you Know if this group is honest?

Has anyone ever dealt with Silver Cloud Financial or Mobiloans? I want to send them ACH revokation letters but I am nervous about it. I am in Mississippi and have heard from a previous post that these online companies aren't licensed here. I just do not know how they will respond.

So today was the day that all 5 of the PDL's where supposed to withdrawal. I had closed my BofA account almost 2 weeks ago. I faxed and mailed the revocation letters to the bank. I cannot deliver in person because my local branch wouldn't take them, said I had to take them to the branch I opened the account in, which is 1200 miles away. Today I wake up to 3 emails from the PDL saying, thank you for renewing my loan. My next payment is, blah, blah blah.

I live in New York State. I have taken a number of payday loans over the past year, with 11 (!) different companies. The lenders are: Lakota Cash MyCashNow SureAdvance Liquid Cash United Cash Loans StarCash CashDirect Express Jupiter Funding 247 Greenstreet EZPayDayCash Plain Green Loans The total amount I borrowed across the companies was over $9000. That's the really bad news. The less bad news is that all of these loans have been paid in full and I have no outstanding debt to any payday loan companies.

HI I GOT A CALL FROM First National Collection Bureau, Inc AND THERE TELLING ME I OWE A BILL FOR DIRECT TV AND I CANCELD IT BACK IN 2007 AND WHY WOULD THEY JUST NOW BE CALLING MEE ABOUT A BILL I EVEN CALLED DIRECT TV AND TRYED MY BEST TO EXPLAIN THAT THIS WAS IN 2007 I HAD DRICT TV AND I CANCELD IT WHEN I MOVED OUT MY ANUTS HOUSE AND I DONT NO HOW I OWE THEM A BILL NOW FOR 259.00

I read somewhere, and for the life of me I cannot locate it again, that a contract is governed by the state it was signed in. With these internet lenders, the loan is signed in one state by the person getting the loan, yet the company is in another state. That means to me that the laws of MY state will govern the validity of the contract no matter what state the contract claimes to fall under in regard to law. Do you have any idea where I can find the information I need?

Okay I have been reading all this about payday loans and I hate them. If my reading is correct then the steps I should take are the following. 1. Change banking account number, have talked to the bank and they will help 2. send out letters informing them that they are not legal in my state mississippi. 3. send out letters revoking the wage assignment.

This company is calling a school health office with no outside access and when the call was returned to resolve the issue; they stated they could not resolve the calls being made in error.
