I have a question for you all: Has anyone else out there experience trouble with their automatic payments being taken out prematurely for the last two months to Oakview Law Group? I was scheduled for an 11/1 payment to them, which ended up being debited on 10/27, therefore throwing my checking account into overdraft. I was mad, but I was assured that someone at Oakview had talked with a senior official at Bank of America, and they were going to rectify the problem so that didn't happen going forward.

I'm pissed off at this guy that is the store manager of Check into Cash. He showed up to my job today. This is the second visit from him within a 3 week period. I think this is a form of harassment. What can I do? This is a storefront loan in the state of Texas. He has no right to come on my job especially when I have asked him not too. Yes I'm behind on the loan but he still doesn't need to be showing up on my job like im going to pull out money right then and there. Advise anyone..... thanks...

is a threat of prosecution the same as a threat of arrest and if so does this violate the fdcpa

I got caught up in gambling, using money I should have been paying my bills with, then ran up my credit cards. I have a very good income, but my credit card bill amount to $70K+ and I have only about $25K equity in my house. Is there anyone who will consolidate my credit cards into one lower interest loan without having to secure it with my home? I don't have enough equity. I signed up with GA and am no longer gambling, but not sure what my options are now. I don't want to declare bankruptcy because of what it does to future credit options.

Who does Enhanced Recovery usually collect for or represent? Do they buy debts? Do they buy debts from WaMu or Citi? They have left two recordings, for me, at a friend's house. Enhanced Recovery has never sent me a bill, nor are they on my credit report.
