What can my sister and husband do on spouse team that purchased a business, defaulted in payment and are now alluding to possible bankruptcy filing

Found myself digging deeper making zero progress regarding payday loans. Since the web is where I got into trouble, I looked to the web to find help - thus came across this community. I read much throughout all the forum, learned, and applied what I read in a professional approach acting to mitigate the payday loans. In my experience, once I submitted my documentation to the payday loan companys - I have not paid one red cent to them again.

Who is this guy and why is he calling ME???? His office called here and left a message for a man I divorced in 1989. We have not spoken since our son graduated from high school 5 years ago. And then we only spoke on an "as needed" basis. My current husband and I just bought this new home in a different town, and had a phone installed a year ago. How did they come to call HIM at OUR house on OUR new number... and they said it's because I am a reference for the "Other" party???

Im going to file for bankruptcy as my wife and I had a baby and before and after having him, we racked up credit card debt. It is now to the point where we cant even make the payments and we will be having an increase in rent in a few months. My question is, WE are about 1-2 mnths late on all the credit cards, and were planning to do bk soon, but we live in the snow and cant afford to lose the car with 4wd until march. Should I put all my cc's in a consolidation program so I can prolong bankruptcy without getting sued? thanx

Hello, I have a default judgement from Forester and Garbus and have filed a motion to vacate for improper service. I was never served and the days and times they say they served me, or attempted, I and my wife were definately home, so they lied in their affadavit of service. Anyhow, here is what I was hoping you could help me out with. I am seeking some case history or precedence that shows this firm knowingly tries to improperly serve people or any court case that was thrown out because they improperly served the defendent.

I have $14500 in credit card debt. I refuse to do a bankruptcy and cccs says I dont earn enough to join them. What about a company like New Era? I cant have collection agencies calling my work everyday because I would lose my job. Help

Last year I got into some financial difficulty and had to let a few credit cards slide. I filed for bankruptcy but had it dismissed (long story) and I'm trying to develop a plan to get things settled. Recently I got a letter from a collections agency regarding a home depot card I have. I intend to send them a validation letter, in the meantime I checked my credit report with equifax and incredibly that home depot account is not there..I haven't checked the other two agencies yet - what should be my plan of action should that debt be listed or not listed on the other 2 agency reports?
