I don't know what else I can do to get these people off of me. They have sent my information to multiple agencies. I explained to her that my state forbids these loans and that I overpaid them! So I e-mailed the original person who approved my loan and this is what I got: Mr. Alves, ( by the way, i am a woman!) When you applied online for a payday loan, you solicited our company for the loan. If you read over the attached documents, you will find that you are under contract by our state laws we are liscensed ( that's right...they mispelled licensed) in.

Hello, I had a very odd occurence today. Someone called my work and said he is going to read a legal document to me. He had a thick accent and I kinda cut him off and told him it's a fraud, blah blah and hung up on him. I'm used to this scam, as they tried me before on my cell phone. I have one outstanding loan out but it's with Geneva Roth and they are still not working with me and not accepting that these loans aren't legal in my state. Heh. Anyway, now here's the weird part. I noticed he also called on my cell and that the number was 518-212-1618.

I just signed up with American Freedom Financial. They provided me with their BBB score etc. I can cancel within 30 days. I have $180K in credit card debt. I can't pay it as they have raised rates on me and now payments are too high. I have not missed a payment yet but I am going to have too this month. I do not know anything about this debt relief vs. consolidation etc. I don't have time to research a ton of companies and I need your help. I have to pay less per month and negociate a lower balance with several cards. I have em all!!

I contacted Cash Advance Network and OneClick Cash about being illegal in the State of Michigan. I said that I did not feel that I owed anymore on either one of those accounts. This is what Cash Advance said: It is not worth our time to dispute what you read. Perhaps you should have researched this product before accepting the terms of the agreement. Regardless, we will write off the balance owed and close out this account. Good day[/color][/color] One Click Cash said this. Your account is now closed.

I have had multiple calls from this number: 312-962-5282. Someone with an extremely thick accent saying he is from United National legal department, extension 1077. He says I need to call him back as there is a "case filed against my name." This person calls me every morning, anywhere from 3-7 times in immediate succession, BEFORE 8 AM. I can only assume this is for past due PDLs, because I did default on a couple, but I have not called them back. Where do I file a complaint regarding this company? This is definitely harassment.

Here's my dilemma---my mom has a Cap1 card that she is unable to pay on, it has gone to Alliance One for collection. My mom is 79 years old, receives $450 in Social Security, has no assets, no savings, nothing. I had been trying to help her pay on it (balance is 6,000), but we were unable to keep up (my name is NOT on the account). Anyway it is now with Alliance One and they said they won't take payments. I know if she were working they would garnish wages, but what can they do if someone has nothing to take? Thanks

I sent them a copy of pollys letter stating my state laws (virginia) and what I think I owe them. The loan was $350 with a $105 finance charge, I have already paid them 3 x $105 which equals $315. So I told them that I would pay the original amount plus one finance charge which is $455 altogether. So I would only owe them $140. They sent me this: In reference to your e-mail inquiry; In reference to your e-mail inquiry; We here at Payday Loan Yes value your service. However, we are unable to defer your payment, nor are we able to accept any payments through the mail.

They were very nasty and said I had til noon today to repay this or they were going to take me to court and garnish my wages. I do not remember having anything through them cash supply. I asked if I could work out a payment plan and they said absolutely not that I woudl have to go to court can they do this :(
