I acquired a loan through American Web Loan in the amount of $700 in April of 2012. As I was not able to pay back the entire amount, they deducted $200 from my checking account bi-weekly for a total of $1400, until I was unable to work due to having surgery. I e-mailed them and explained the situation, and they said I could miss one payment, but to call customer service. Problem is, when you call you are put on hold. FOREVER. I tried calling back and choosing the option to take a new loan out (just to get a human on the line) and was transferred again just to be put on hold.
