Ok...I received a call at work today from a law office saying they were representing American Express in collection of my account. I was really worked up so I didn't get his name or company. I just asked him to not call me at work and he said that he had been calling home and my voicemail is always full...which is not true. My Amex account went to united recovery systems and I have sent them a DV and limited C&D letter back in July and never received any information or calls back since then.

After paying this loan and getting another over and over again I finally did a EPP I have been very illl. The original loan was made in Aug agreement made in Sept and first payment is now. I have been in an out of hospital in last 2 months. The checking account is already in a neg balance and I am sure they will not cash the check. Who knows by now the bank maybe closed my account. Again I have been really sick but getting better. What is going to happen to me if I don't go make my first payment of 160 on my epp.

OK, I know this seems like a silly little thing, but now I am trying to discover if I am right to argue this. I have a 30 day late being reported for Feb of 08 on my mortgage. I have proof that a double payment was made on Feb 11 (for Jan & Feb together). Therefore, Jan payment was 30 days late, not Feb. The mortgage co says that nothing is being reported incorrectly and they dismissed my dispute. They stated that since Jan payment was made in Feb, that is why it is being reported on Feb.
