My story I have 3 loans One click cash-eastside lenders-paydayone! One click took 390.00 from my account instead of the 90.00 per the loan terms I called they said because of the loan laws in OHIO effective Sept, 1 they cannot renew loans in Ohio any longer and had to take the full loan amount.

I had a payment agreement through Agency A, then I was notified by Agency B that the debt had been transferred to them. When I called the original creditor, they gave me the phone number to a different agency entirely. I have requested verification from both A and B, since A has been telling me conflicting stories since this started. I am concerned about not paying A, since we had an agreement and do not want to default if they are still the proper agency. Thank you.

I recently found out that my cash now is illegal. I have paid $800 in fees for a $1000 loan. They are telling me my payoff amount in $1399. I am not trying to not pay the principal back, I just think it's unfair for me to pay such high fees if they are infact illegal. Has anyone dealt with them? What advice can you give me? Is calling them and basically saying you are operating illegally and I jsut want to pay the reminder of what I legally owe you? How do I go about negotiating with them?

If you are considering hiring an attorney to represent you, how do you check up on the attorney and his/her office? Is there a Better Business Bureau for Attorneys? Are there questions I should be asking, or things I need to know before paying a retainer?

I hear about debt settlement and debt consolidation, I want to avoid BK, now that I know that it is not so easy and it hurts your CR really bad. What is the difference between the two? Please advise

In August, I received a letter (sent to my current address-- not forwarded) from a company I had never heard of saying that I had student loans I had never paid on. I called the company and let them know that I did have two sets of student loans, but both were being paid on. Before I could ask questions, he asked me my current information (address, phone, work info.)The guy was nasty and accused me of making up addresses and phone numbers (he had old ones of each in his file).

I am writing my complaints to the attorney general. Its asking me if I signed a contract and I don't remember and if I did, I don't have them. What should I do?
