we just moved to North carolina and we got a bill from a collection company saying we owe Qwest money , this bill is 5 years old I'm not even sure we owe this and I asked her if the statue of limitation was up . She said no there isn't a statue of limitation. This hasn't ever showed up on are credit or anything I asked why they haven't notified us before, she said it had been placed with two other collection agencies and gave me a bogus address where the bills were going.

i called pdl and ask to send me by mail the validation of the loan and the license for the to lend she said she can send by mail because is online loan but i can check it online, why is tah?

There'sa bot posting under NOW665,938--any number they put in, faster than I can delete. I have deleted about 25 so far, and I have to leave pretty soon--help!!..karen

I just talked to the Ohio Dept. that regulates payday lenders and was told that there isn't much I can do basically because I was stupid enough to take out more than one payday loan. He even said bankruptcy isn't an option since payday loans aren't covered under a bankruptcy. I'm not sure how you all can help but am open to any ideas. I work night shift and got home this morning to I bet 50 calls already and it's not even 11.

Once you close your bank account, is it ok to open a new account with the same bank ?

Hi everyone. From reading through a lot of the posts, I see that 1st Bank of Delaware is legal. I have about 4 months left of payments to them for a $1500 loan. (2 payments per month). This is getting to be too much. $180 a month may not seem like a lot but it does add up. Does anyone have any experience with setting up new arrangements with them or is it useless? Also, I have a PDL through Arrowhead. It is for $200, I already paid $180 on this. Am I only obligated to pay $20 more to satisfy this debt? I am in MI. Same goes for Payday-Loan-Yes. It was for $350.

I have posted this before but I can't find the answer...sorry if someone answered me before. I called CHASE and talked about settling. They took notes and said they would call me back. Is this true? Do they really call back or should I call them? Any info on this is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!

CA has illegally re-aged an out of SOL account. Can anyone tell me how should i proceed on this?? Last payment date has changed to more recent so it is now inside SOL. Thanks in Advance for your suggestion..

I got a call from them. They stated they will settle with me by having me pay in 3 payments which actually total the loan principal. They want a copy of my paystub to agree with the dates I stated I can make the payment. I am not sure about all of this and if there is anything I can do, can some please tell me. I want to clear this up but I don't want to disclose anymore information to them. Thanks
