HELP! I was unfortunately not aware of these internet payday loan businesses. GreenPicket is one and after reading my "contract" learned they are out of Malta. I have to write to them at their Malta address, as well as learning that another office is operating out of Canada. My bank has closed the account after I have called these people, emailed them and told them I cannot pay them back. I found the declaration of wage assignment and faxing them a letter of my not approving a wage declaration or ACH. Are they legal? Gloria

I've got a PDL with B&L Marketing and they are wanting me to call them back to set up arrangements. However, I've let them know in the letter that I faxed and emailed that I need to have everything in writing. They emailed me and let me know that if I would like consideration and my balance marked as paid I had to call them. I've not ever been through this before and I don't want them to harrass me when I call. Why can't they do it over email or can they?

I have a question: I live in Florida, I have a payday loan with check n go due to come out of my account on Aug 14, 2008. I asked them if I could roll it to the next payday and they said no, that in the state of Florida, I cannot do that. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I've heard back from my first PDL and they are wanting me to call them. On Saturday, I had sent them the C&D letter and let them know that I wanted my account marked as Paid In Full and now they are wanting me to call them. Should I? Please advise.

I need help with my cash now. Are they legal in Texas? I took out a 1000 loan in July. I extended it in August and paid 399 and another 399 is due on August 29th. I do not want to default on my loan because I can't have them calling my work or home. I am wiling to pay it off but what are my legal options? I can't close my bank account either since it is a joint account with my husband and he doesn't know about this whole mess. Please help!

called greenpicket if you use .com with the above name, it will bring you to this cartoonish wesbite. select "contact us" and you will see that the mailing address is eerily (sp) the same as cashtransfercenter. hmmmm... i guess the use of cartoons and bright colors is their new schtick.
