It's been about 3-4 months since this CA posted a $3134 debt of a credit card that i already settled w/ National Recovery CA for $1800. The account was settled on dec 06. This new CA account appeared Feb 08. I sent my settlement letter to them and they said they will delete the wrong info from my credit report. I've also sent the letter to the Big 3's and opened an dispute. I've got the results and they all came back as I still owe the money. I don't know what else to do.

Does this website have any attorneys who would help someone out for free or for an inexpensive fee?

Does any of the attorneys on the website provide services to low income individuals? Has anyone used an attorney from there, if so, how much would it cost?

I read someone else's similar post on here, and also on the internet when I posted the phone number this call came from (949-270-1901). I received a call on Memorial Day (so over a week ago) from someone with a heavy Middle Eastern accent (hard to understand) basically threatening me (or my attorney) that I should call him back or "I would not like what was going to unfold upon me." Meanwhile in reading up on this phone number, it is a law firm (or someone posing as one or a collection agency) trying to collect for a US National Bank (they do not exist) on old PDLs.

I stopped payments after appx $1200 taken from my account automatically and now I'm up to almost 2 years trying to settle this. I spoke to Arrowhead and they sold my acct and can't help me. But the jerk I talked to today said I need to western union $1100 or the cops are coming tomorrow. Can anyone help??

Hi. New here. My girlfriend and i are in this hell. We just can't do this anymore. Our entire checks go to these pdl's and then we have to borrow more the next day to finish paying everyone. Bills have gone by the wayside, our cell phones were shut off today actually. Rent and electric are due friday and there's no way possible to pay the pdl's. What can we do.
