Like the other people i've been reading about, I'm in the same boat with you. I've got 10 PDL, have emailed PDLAssistance, but have not been able to connect with them yet. They took my whole paycheck this past week, I've got a week and a half to try to do something or they will take all of that one. All of mine are internet PDLs. What are the laws in AZ? I keep getting calls from Secure Credit Systems. They apparently brought the account from PaydaytoGo. I acquired Langhorne debt solutions and a letter was sent to them the end of April but the keep calling saying that they did not get a letter. I just contacted Langhorne again today and they e-mailed the letter that was sent out to this company. Just be aware the even if you are working with a debt management company to negotiate the PDL's some of them are still trying to get money.

Another question... but I figured it was deserving of its own topic... If I were to request debt validation and the collection agency is unable to validate the debt, what happens with the original creditor listing on my credit report?

I am considering consolidating my 18k in debt. I want to buy another home in a year or so. Would this hurt my chances?

I have student loans that were recently rehabbed. My question is: I've noticed that my status is different from bureau to bureau for the same account. Equifax will say "paying as agreed"...but Transunion will say "Paid/was late" Obviously I would like the most positive information I can get...so would it be wise to contact the creditor and ask them to report "paying as agreed" for their account to all three bureaus instead of having them differ? Has anyone had experience with this type of thing?

I closed my bank account the week of April 14th. I was due to have the PDLs debit my bank on April 25th. I sent out letters on the 21st and 22nd of April to the PDLS along with emails and faxes stating I was revoking any debits, cease and desist contacting me, revoking wage garnishing etc...and my proposal to pay back the principal on the loan if owed. I borrowed $975 from WebPayDay in early April. I paid $243.75 on April 11th. I proposed I pay them the balance of $731.25 in 4 payments. They never replied to me, called, nothing....until the past few days.

Hello. ABout 3 years ago I fell into the credit trap. I have about $10000 in debt and I am looking for a debt settlement route. I tried calling a couple places and they refuse to handle any settlement for a debt that is older than 2 years so I have decided to take it upon myself and negotiate (while saving some money as well). The problem is, the largest accounts I owe to show as "closed by creditor" on my credit report. When I called them they said the debt was sold and I should contact them.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I was on DFCU Financials website and they now have deluxe checks as there new check provider. I was thinking about an account with them but now am skeptical. I am afraid to order checks at all.
