I need phone numbers for payday flash, all american lending, and united cash loans. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I just found out that I have opened a checking account at comerica and they use chexsystems to verify. I was just about to write a check for a bill does any body have any suggestions on what I can do? Is it wise for me to open an account at another place? How can I find out who has inquired into my chexsystems file?

Has anyone got a PDL from Rightaway Financial Group or Resource Financial Group. If so we need to talk. Check out your state law regarding PDL to see if they are legal. If not, contact your State Attorney General Office to inform them of these illegal practices. He has a terrible record with BBB and only has a po box in the state of Utah which I was told was going to be shut down. Colorado knows of his illegal activities but they can't do anything about it because he is working with the bank of South Dakota and it is a corporation.

If you offer to make monthly payments to a CA/Law Firm (if they turned it over to one)don't they legally have to accept this? Or do you have to pay in the lump sum they told you they would accept over a few months? Just curious because of the situation I'm in. Thanks

Hi Everyone, I have two old Capital One cards from around 2004 - 2005 that I need to pay off. Both of these cards had a credit limit of only $250. The two collection agencies that now own these two debts are Kay Mitchell and NCO. NCO states I owe $980.00 and Kay Mitchell states I owe $1050.00. I do intend to pay off these debts but does anyone know if there is a cap on how much a CA can charge for interest and fees? I know that when Capital One handed these over to the CA's the balances were not over $300. I live in Ohio. Any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

I contacted nco today. I have been making bi-weekly payments on a very small account. i spoke to someone in the "credit" dept who was flat out rude. she told me no such action would be taken until the account is paid in full. lol I called them to make arrangements, they were sued by FTC in 2004 in the state i lived in Pa. I told her my other collection agents had reported accurate info by updating my payments to my reports. she then said a flat no.

Can anyone help me locate a good reliable website to research civil law, and specifically for certain states? THANKS!! :D

I received a statement from Valentine & Kebartas in the amount of $3.12. I called them to determine what the debt was from and the amount owed was in fact $3.12. They verified the amount to be $3.12 and told me to send a money order to clear it up. I was a little concerned about sending a money order because I want to have proof of a cancelled check, but now I worried about sending a check. They call me non-stop claiming the amount is actually $312.00. Do I have the right to go by the statement they sent me or what they are telling me over the phone.

I am on chex systems and I recently (2wks ago) opened a checking account and saving account online with Suntrust. Everything was electronic as well as a signature. I have received a debit card and i am set up online. I haven't put much money in as of yet because I was worried they might come back and close it. Do you think I'm O.K. or should I lay low for a while.

Please help I have about an 8,000 dollar balance with Citi, that got turned over to URS (united recovery systems) Most of which from those dollars are gambling debts from using EGOLD and 5dimes gambling. I have agreed to pay these debts off at 500 per month with a settle ment of just over 6 grand. I have paid about 1000 of the debt and now I had my last check bounce. I have now learned that some of these debts might be uncollectable because they are from gambling debts.
