I have been dealing with Little Loan Shoppe out of Bountiful Utah-I sent my letter stating they were violating Illinois law and that I have more than paid what I owe and that I want my acct marked PIF-This is what they sent me- Thank you for your recent email regarding the status of your loan. Respectfully, we disagree with your claim that our short term installment loan is not valid in your state. Pursuant to the agreement you signed with our company your loan is governed by the laws of the state of Utah.

When is a creditor in violation of harassment, I know the CAs fall under the fdcpa, what is it called again where the original creditor has to adhere to certain laws?

Has anyone heard of or used A.R.Trust Services for debt consolidation or management? TIA!

I have been getting calls on a regular basis from Payday Loan Yes. I got 3 calls (talked twice to Meredith Jeffries(she also goes by Alisha) both times screaming) within 15 minutes on my work phone first thing this morning. So she called me a hot head on the voicemail. She also said to me that I owe them a balance on my loan and they will give me a special deal. (again I have paid them back in full $450 on $300 loan.)They also are famous by saying they didn't receive any letters from me, etc.

Hello, I normally post in the payday loan foroum but because of the help i'm getting there, i can now afford to take care of other debt. Right now I owe three credit cards and Hollywood Video. I owe Hollywood Video at least $1,000.00 and the credit cards only had $300 or so credit lines but I'm sure they are up to at least $500 right now.
