I need help is gateway holdings group licensed in texas if so what can i do to get this monkey off my back

I was just reading these post about Midland funding, as i am dealing with them as we speak. They have had an attorney come after me with a summons to respond on behalf of midland Funding. I have responded to the summons, and in return the attorney in my state have now sent another questionaire basically, asking me to admitt to living my this county, i owned this account etc. How would i handle this situation at this point? I'm just now seeing all this info about Midland and want to make sure i can stop them in their tracks. Thanks In Advance

This is ANOTHER Western Sky/Cash Call loan question - sorry - but it is all very confusing (even after reading about it on here). Took out a loan with WS in January for $1000, which was sold to Cash Call - and which has been fully repaid, plus an additional $250. I did not read the fine print - dumb I know - but then realized that the total amount owed was about $4000 (because my interest rate is 237%) over 2 years.

I contacted my bank to complete the ACH Revocation and I was told this can not be done. The representative stated there is no way to stop all ACH withdrawals. He stated specific ACH withdrawals can be stop but after reading other post about lenders using some many names, was under the impression that stopping specific withdrawals was not a good idea. Any insight?

Is anyone familiar with this Debt Collector/Lawyer's Office? I received a letter from them yesterday stating that they rep Midland Funding LLC (the current owner of the debt) and they "suggest" I send a check or money order to their office to settle my debt. I don't see the point in sending a validation letter, as I know I owe the amount stated. I hear conflicting advice, from "DO NOT call them!" to "Call them to try and settle. It can't hurt." Are they in the position to make some sort of payment plan with me, or is it too late for that?

Allied Interstate, LLC supervisors and employees are rude, threat customers with future calls and ask for postdated checks to bring the account current (which by the way, my bank told me is ILLEGAL"). Can they ask you for a post dated check?

I have one payday loan that is legal with Cash Net USA My payment is 158.00 twice a month. Has anyone had any luck with them changing to a payment once a month which would extend the loan? I have 5 payments left and the 2X monthly is really difficult to make because Im trying to get caught up with regular credit cards and house payments. I would really like to be done with payday loans and caught up as soon as possible. thanks
