I recieved a letter from a lawyer in Florida saying they were going to garnishee my wages. To stop it I had to write a letter to the court house stating I wanted a trial. I lost the letter from the lawyer before I had a chance to contact the county clerk. What should I do?

I have read the forums...but still do not understand what process I need to take concerning my enormous debt to so many student loans, I want to do the consolodate and pay appox 100 per month until the 25 year of write off occurs. I have read a number of posts on here regarding PDL's, ACH revoke letters, Closing bank account, etc. Very helpful and appreciated! So is it the recommendation to close your bank account and open a new one as a precautionary measure, or is it because after the PDL's receive the revoke letter they try to debit your account anyway? Once you notify the bank to put a hard hold on any debits for those PDL's, wouldn't the bank be liable? Thanks

I have some things on my credit report that going to drop off in 2013. Do i need to contact the company to pay it off so they can remove it completely off of my credit report? Or just leave it only and let it drop off in 2013?
