am so glad that i've found this site. i already got a letter from a collection agency laywer stating that a lawsuit will be filed because of nonpayment of my medical bills.does this mean that i dont have a chance to make arrangements? my debt are so above my head that iam lost. please advise .thanks

I have a CA that has been reporting on my credit report for about a year now. They bought the debt from another CA, and I finally decided to figure out what the heck the debt was from. I sent a validation letter in late October. From what I understand- they do not have to respond, right? So, then I disputed the entries with the credit bureaus. I did this in early November, and I am still waiting to hear back. BUT, I signed up for the 3 in one credit monitoring, and I just had an ALERT that this exact CA just opened something new up on Experian.

Can I consolidate my debt without taking a severe hit to my credit? ALl the programs I have talked to want me to stop paying my bills and take a severe credit hit fot 2-4 years.

hey can someone suggest what to do I am in a PD nightmare. I have 5 pd loans and can barley keep above. Im not sure how much longer I can keep this going. Ihave my cash now $440, One CLick Cash $450, WEb Payday $600.00, United Cash Loans $450.00, and 500Fast Cash $400.00..i am paying almost $750.00 every 2 weeks and this is not touching prinicipal.

I originally spoke to a representative of this company on 10/28. When I answered the phone, almost immediately, the woman (whose name I didn't get) began yelling and even cursing at me. She said something about a bill from Citibank from 1996. I explained that I didn't remember ever having a Citibank card and asked to speak to a supervisor.

Ok so here is the deal my husband and i have fallen on hard times and decided that we needed a payday loan, well to repay that we had to keep getting new ones we have 11 between the 2 of us and 1 installment loan from bank of delaware. I have been reading about langhorne and some other places on here and really need to get out of this trap have tried calling a few places in the last 2 days but assume they are still closed from the holiday.

i see at thre top of the application it says moneycard? isnt this for a checking account?

I had a credit card with bank of america.My bill got up to $4500. I could not afford to make my payments because my interest rates was so high.so i stop making my payments.Bank of America sold my $4500 debt to another company.This is the first letter that i have gotten from this company an it is a civil summons stating that i owe $5800 now. The last payment that i made to bank of amercia was on 1-03-06

Hi, about a year ago I got caught in a scam and lost a bit over 4000 dollars, all of which went on my credit card. Since then, and for several months, I was good with making my payments on time through the online bill payment website. Eventually I slipped up on a payment and the next month my monthly payments became too much for me to bear. I have a 7,500 dollar credit limit and it had reached up to almost 8000 dollars.

for the last two years different collection agency's have been calling me on a bill from a hospital in the amount of$30 for leaving without seeing a doctor and the bill also has interest...I have never walked out on a doctor appointment and had never heard of this bill till two years ago...the bill in question is about twelve years old and the credit company has been un able to get me the original bill. I was just wondering how to handle this. Today was about the 20th call and I hung up on the lady after telling her I will never pay this bill
