I need information on how to go about these payday loans. I live in new jersey and no one here has any idea how to stop them from calling my home, job and cell phone. Please help me. I am in a financial mess with my bank and i have to get bacj on track. I feel like i am working for nothing. Thanks and any feedback i get, will be appreciated

can creditors or collectors take consumers without previously contacting them to attempt to collect the debt, which was not even reported to credit report? i've been looking for the answer if this action is violation of the law... please someone answer it!

Well...here it goes. I had a loan with CashCall. It defaulted and I JUST couldn't make payments on the loan. I started looking onto different Consolidation sites, and came across DebtCC. I statred reading the forums.and realized that I 'wasn't alone', in all of this!! Well.......I REALLY just wanted to 'ignore' this debt, knowing that Cash Call was VERY difficult to deal with. I had NO idea what to do. A few people, on this forum, replied to my posts, about Cash Call. Saying things like, 'You can't ignore your debt, face it head on. We are all here to help you through this'.

I am assisting my Sister-In-Law on some debts on her credit card. It appears most of the charges in the last two years are charges over the Internet, which she does not know how to use. It appears **** and drugs were charged on the card.

I recently found by mistake (I got a memo which was not supposed to deliver to me at this point) that I will be sued by an collection agency who has never contacted me in the past. And I do not know what account it regards to. Now they filed the case against me in Los Angeles, CA where I used to live until a year ago. I am now in NY. I am thinking of hiring a lawyer. what would you suggest hiring one in CA or NY? Any suggestion (pros and cons) would be appreciated.
