ok i have seen many debt settlement company names on here . but which does actually work for you. and which are the best. also what about the bud hibbs site. or sixipert person. I need results . the pros and cons on these company. Please give me some in site on these companys. do they work or not. what say i do.

ok for what i have heard. the credit cards that we use the companys that what gives you the credit card. actually dont have the money in the bank .to actually give you . i have heard it is air money. they dont have it and actually cant prove it. they dont have it in there actual books that they lend u any money at all. Is there in truth in that at all anyone. then also i heard that once they charge u off . they collect insurance money on that account. then they sell your account to a debt collector. which you really dont even owe them the money. so NOW iam really messed up here.

Hi all I am glad I found this forum. About 5 years ago when I was working at another job hsbc offered retail accounts for company I was working at. I only used this account once, and is has been at 0 for almost 4 years. Today while applying for a car loan, the man ask me about HSBC credit card I had. I told him that that was for my old job and hasn't been used for many years and that I ask HSBC to close it and they said they did. He informed that it is still active and open.

What does it cost to do debt consolidation program?

Last year I paid a settlement amount to Midland Credit Mangement for an Associates credit card. The amount is still showing on my credit report. The original associates account was opened in March of 2001. Is it better to dispute the negative listing on my credit report? Or to wait until March of 2008 and dispute it because of how long it has been on my report? Can I do both I opened the account in New York and currently reside in Arizona.

Today I received notification from the BBB in NY that they were closing my complaint due to the fact the letter they sent to my cash now came back undeliverable. I gave them the address I had for MCN in NY. So does this mean they moved?? Does anyone have any other address for them??

I am paying off my debts.. they started at around 3000 and are now down at 1500. However, I notice that my scores are not going up and it has been several months. The types of accounts were mostly collections stuff. I plan on having the rest of my debt paid off by the end of Sept. Once that is done, how can I get my score to go up so that Early Next Year (January) I can get my own Apartment

I lost my job almost a year ago. Now, I am back at work, but making $10,000 less. I am making payments, however, not the minimum payments. Can I be sued even though I am paying the creditors something? Thanks
