so i got my first phone call....yay, and the lady was like you setup to have the full amount come out on this date and it was returned for insf, cunds and i said yeah i know thats cause i closed my account and she started to say about what they were gonna do to me and i was like before you tell me how i am going to be arrested or blah blah blah just save ur breath cuse i will be sending in a payment next friday for what i legally owe since you know you guys are a illegal company and she was speechless and i was like dont worry about it u will get all my letters and dont call my work or me anym

I recently received a letter from the above named law firm stating that the Creditor is CACH and the original Creditor is Credit One Bank. It says that this office has been retained to collect the debt owed by me to CACH, LLC. This is a demand for payment in full. I do not have the entire amount owed since I cannot work due to an injury. Has anyone had experience with this firm and if so, do they accept payment arrangements? Please help, getting a little scared.

Today I received a call from a man at MCM who was rude, made racist remarks about Americans, and called me stupid. When I hung up on him, he called me back. I asked him not to call me but instead mail me, which are my rights by law, and he responded that since I was breaking the law why should I have rights? All attempts at getting his name failed, and when I told him it was harrassment, he mocked me. I spoke with his manager who said he'd "coach him through how to talk to customers", but I doubt it. How do I handle this?

I am the typicall collage grad. During School i had thoes credit cards and used them. Now I have what they call a real job and want to move on and get out of the situation i have gotten myself into. School loans and car loans i can handle, but the credit cards i can't. I want to get married next year but with the credit card debt it isn't going to happen the way I want. Any help and advice would benefit me greatly in the beginnins of my adutlt life. Thanks, Erika

I had a credit card with Plains Commerce Bank. 2003 was the last payment made on this account. In 2006 Total Card Recovery contacted me and sent them VOD letter. Nothing came back from them. Now I just got a letter from Zenith Acquisitions Corp trying to collect on the same account. Just mailed them VOD letter today. What should I do next?

Has anyone heard of a Harvey Leibowitz? If so, do you know what company he is from and/or what accounts he would be persuing?

I haven't seen much on this site about Nationwide Recovery Systems (NRS) but thought I would share an article about their CEO - just lets everyone know what these debt collectors do with your money once they bilk it out of you - adding all of their fees and interest, etc. Don't know about you, but excesses like this make me sick to my stomach. And NRS is a $600 million dollar company . . .

Thought everyone would like to know that my co-worker got his check for hardship from his 401K. He will be mailing out his mortgage payment this week he said. I also got my gift check yesterday, so this morning I went by the bank and took out $100 (since I am replacing it), put the money in an envelope and just gave it to him, but did not tell him it was from me. I typed his name on the envelope along with a message inside telling him that I hope that this little contribution would help him in his time of need and just signed it "someone who is wanting to help".
