I recently opened a new checking account because I had overextended myself by getting into payday hell. I was able to default on most loans, but in my new checking account I gave 6 places my new info. I have paid off 2 since then, and 1 is a storefront, so now I only have 3 making ACH debits from my account. My problem is that I have placed stopped payment on two loans and plan to pay off the third shortly.

I am in default status with my mortgage company. Two questions: 1. Can my second mortgage company come after me? 2. Do you know of anyone that will consolidate my loans with my status?

This company keeps calling my home number, and the person they are looking for does not live at my number, nor do I know them. I have requested them to remove my number from their list and they have not done so. Can I sue them for harressment ?

I recently found out that my girlfriend in her own stupidity has racked up around $16000 in credit card debt. She has consolidated the majority of it but on card refused and it has a balance of over $6000 and the interest rate on it is upto 33%, and the minimum amount due is over $400. After she pays her rent, car payment, and all of her other bills and credit card debt she literally can barely afford to eat. She has dug herself in a big hole and at her current situation she will never be able to break free from debt.

Hi, I am new to this and have been reading all about the collection agencies and how they call even when the debt is over 7 years. 10 Years in my case. That said I have a question. Since this last collection took over the debt after 7 years, if I send a cease and desist letter to them, will ALL activity stop forever? I read on here that after 7 years if a collection agency takes over a debt, it cannot be resold. Thanks,

Who in the he__ are these people.. They accessed my checking account and withdrawl 49.95 (check by phone type deal).. And i never spoke with this company before now i am trying to find out how i can get ahold of this company for my refund and they need to pay for the returned check fees they caused.. i owe 16000 dollars restitution how can this get paid and ill owe a consolidation company rather than owing a probation officer and worrying about jail since i have a child on the way
