OK reading on here and the CA state laws regarding PDL's am I correct in thinking that they cannot ask or take more than the legal amount of interest ($15/100). I've told the companies that I've paid back more than the principal + LEGAL interest that I'm not paying anymore and have offered everyone else to pay what I owe according to the laws. Anyone have a clue how this will be received? I just sent out the letters 2 days ago and have not heard from anyone.

How can Palisades Collections with AT&T continue to rob consumers and get away with it.

I took out a loan on a car I had and ignored it for a couple of years... they have contacted me and gave me three options pay 65% or 75% or pay an amount down to keep the attorneys off of me... the total amount is 4,700. I guess it is with late fees and interest etc.... they say they will take me to court is that true? or is it just to scare me?

I was wondering if nayone had a number for US Fast cash? Also does anyone know the laws for Illinois or where I can find them.

I don't have the money to pay the payday loans that I have and now I have a court date on one and they want to add over $500 to the amount of the loan.

I learned many years ago when my sons were small to keep it simple, especially when we were alwas broke. Some of the things I did, was first make sure my bills were paid, and what was left, usually little. I went to the dollar stores and discount stores and bough alot of small toys, and wrapped them ndividually so it was alot of presents, without spending much. As they got older I put in "gift certifiacates" I made. Good for movie and popcorn, good for a trip to go skating, good for a lunch with mom,etc.

My story...? I've been irresponsible and never thought that I would need or want credit. Luckily now I have a reliable job and a reliable cash flow and desperately want to pay off all of my debt as quickly as I can.

Today in the mail we received 3 priority mail letters from online pdls. One was from VIP Cash for $900.00, US Fast Cash for $500.00 and World Wide Cash Now for $350.00. I am going to reply to all of them stating that: Quote:
