All, I have outstanding payday loans and in the process of trying to work with Take Charge America for my credit card debt. I don't know what to do. TCA cannot work with payday loan agencies and since I have no positive income coming in I am barely making ends meet literally. Are there any places that work with them. I am robbing Peter to pay for Paul and do not know what else to do. My checking account just became overdrawn and is -($324) and additional pdl debits are coming up next week 9/30/06 and I haven't even paid some bills as of yet due to no money. What can I do?

I too am in trouble with these lenders. I called them to stop the debits cause the money wouldn't be there. I got out of the hospital and a couple of weeks later my bank account is 800 overdrawn. Went to my bank, they said they could put my account on a credit only basis but couldn't guarentee that it wouldn't be closed if i didn't get the overdraft covered pretty quick. They said they couldn't reimburse the fees since it wasn't a banking error. I contacted the deputy administrator of consumer affairs and have sent him the names of the lenders.

My daughter who does not live with me - whom I currently have no contact - listed my phone number as the way to contact her on a credit card application, QUITE SOME TIME AGO. She obviously now has a credit issue, and the collection agency persists in calling both my phone numbers, regarless the fact I have told them repeatably she does not live here, I don't know where she is, and to STOP calling me regarding this issue. The group calling - Account Solutions Group - ignores the fact I have told them she does not live here and has not - for almost 2 years.

Were do you go to find out if a pdl co in in a licensed in a state?

Hi, This number keeps coming up on my caller ID. Sometimes they leave a message and when I call they say it is American Express. Last time I looked I was dealing with (trying anyway) with a collection agency. Sent the a validation letter and a Cease and Desist. Is it possible that Amex took this back after the CA got my letter. Or is this number in fact a collection agency "posing" as Amex. If it is, I will then keep copies of the voicemails and go after them for violating the Cease and Desist. Anyone else have any dealings with this number?
