Got a call from a Brian Adams today threatening arrest etc etc. He left a nice long message on my voicemail which I have kept, but did not identify where he was calling from. I know I took a loan out with Route 66 ($200) and SJM ($300). Are they collecting for one of these? Please let me know if you knwo the answer to this. Thanks

We have been monitoring these boards for the past week, as well as working with some recent client issues. It is becomming apparent that some clients referred to us by CCCOA are Consolidation Clients and not in need of an Attorney to Negotiate with their Creditors. Because we rely upon certified credit counselors to make that decision, we only became aware of this due to an increase in call volume. This increase in call volume resulted in some of our clients not being able to get through.

I live in Rhode Island an old credit card bills which is about $1600 that I did not pay, which is about 4-5 years old. Lately, I have been getting letters from the local law office for months to contact them regarding the debt. Now i'm actually getting getting a couple of sticky note stuck on my door, stating to call them which is a local number to schedule a state trooper to serve me, and i finally received a sticky note stating if i do not call within 24 hours, they will take alternative actions.

Hello, Recently our debt seems to be getting more out of control. We live in Northern California now and have been for a little over 2 years. Everything is so expensive here it's making our once manageable debt spiraling down the drain. We have a little under 15k in debt and I am looking for a reputable place to go. There are so many choices online and I am sure many of them are as crooked as can be. It seems like many people here like Debtwave. Can anyone help fill me in on thier one time contribution and small monthly service fee information? I want this done and off my plate of worry.

Paying off PDL's is soooooo slow. I can only pay off one each payday. That's 2 per month and I have 7. I can't keep doing this for another 4 months. Who here has already experienced their payday loan independence day? Please tell me there's an end...........
