It starts out real small and then it accumalates more and more like a snowball rolling down the hill. A little here a little there and by the time you realize it, you're drowning in debt. It seems like the more money you make, the more money you spend. Its not the way I choose to live, its something that just happened. I feel like Im in a position where no one wants to help. Instead they rather push me under and keep drowning me in this monstrous pool of bills that we call DEBT. There has to be an answer somewhere, I've looked everywhere.

From reading your forum, I'm hoping someone out there can give me some help asap. I currently have 8 online PDL's that are now in default. Had gotten into a bad situation financially and one lead to another, and was able to keep them up for a few months then I got behind on my other bills. The bank suggested that I close the account and start over, so I did. Now here is where the problem comes in.

Since my last question on my previous post is getting overlooked or ignored, I made a new topic. I know there has to be someone out there with some answers that could help me. I called the circuit clerk today because I still haven't received papers or a summons. She said that they had filed on August 22 and I should get papers any day now. They received my request for validation letter on Aug 16th. I have the receipt. I still haven't gotten any sort of validation. Now, the debt is clearly out of the SOL.

They sent my son what appears to be a phoney Summons and a Complaint. Both are titled "In the Superior Court of the State of Washington for King County," but they have no numbers. The Complaint for Monies begins in Bold letters, "We are a debt collector. This communication is an attempt to collect a debt. In the "Summons (30 Day)" section, it says in order to defend against this lawsuit, you must respond to the Complaint by "stating your defense in writing and serve a copy upon the undersigned attorney. .

Well, im young, 18, have no credit whatsoever and i live in Edmonton AB, Canada. Im currently looking to get a loan of $10,000. The reason i want to get this loan is for 2 reasons, 1) to move out because of family issues, and 2) fix my car, buy a new computer for school. I currently am working full-time and make 35k gross a year. I have applied to 3 different places, each of which ask for a cosigner (which due to family issues, i am unable to get). I have spoke with one of my long time friends, and he said he could cosign for me.

I have a court date scheduled in November for an old CC account. The SOL is around Oct 1. Since they filed the suit in August, does that mean I cannot use the SOL defense? I was not sure if it was the date the suit was filed or court date.
