I have credit card debt of $42,000 from 3 diff companies with high apr. I would like consolidate in to one payment with less apr.

I have about $7k-$8K in unsecured debt. I have never missed or been late on a payment. I just can't seem to pay it off fast enough, would debt consolidation help or hurt me??

I am trying to help out a neighbor who is a senior citizen and a victim of id theft. We have run a copy of his credit report and there is about $20,000 of debt that is not his. This all came to his attention because of a summons to court to pay a gas and elec bill ($2000+) from an area of our state where he does NOT live. I am working on Fraudulent Account Statements for each company on the credit report and we have filed a report with the state police.

Hi All, Please help with my issue with collection agency fees. Original creditor balance $1,427. They sent me to a collection agency to pay the past due amount. I was told this was the only way I could resolve this past due account. I paid $1196.64 to collection agency then returned to original creditor for payment of current balance. The original creditor sent a current balance statement for $529.28. That is only a difference of $879.72. I asked them to "Please explain where $316.92 has gone". I was told by the original creditor the collection agency has a fee of 33 1/2 %. Is this B.S.?

Can anyone tell me if payday ok and payday one of delaware are licensed in Texas? Two sites I checked found no results, but then the Corporation site on Polly's blog lists both. Not sure if this means their licensed though or not?

Hey Guys, I just saw something on my credit report from "Rent Debt Inc." for $58, and I think it may be from my most recent apartment I moved out of a year ago, but I was never contacted about paying this. Problem is that I am planning to apply for a new apt.

Anyone heard of these guys? They are representing CACH, sending me a letter of collection.
