Hello all. I'm new and I have been reading around the forum and will continue to do some research, but thought I would share my situation and see what anyone thinks. I have about $17,000 in credit card debt, which is mostly from my past 5 years during college. I have 7 cards with rates ranging from 7.9% to 31%!!! I want to consolidate into one payment with a decent rate. I was quoted by Counsel for debt solutions, John Leaberry PLLC for a $474 monthly payment for 47 months. I want to do more research before I sign away on anything.

I was contacted by a law firm in FL after filling out the info on this site, unfortunately I didn't get back with them, I don't know if you have a list of who contacts who, or should I fill out the info again?

I was sure I had posted my story,but can't find it. So here goes again! About 16 years ago,my second husband and my two kids were living the American Dream. New home,new cars,etc. Well,our house was in a flash flood(we had flood ins.) and we walked out of our house with the clothes on our back and my son's meds. To make a long story short,the flood ins. was a big joke,they have the authority to determine what they want to do,and we were sent to a hotel at our expense,Flood ins.

Does anybody have any info on this company arrow financial services I got behind on a HSBC letter and got this letter from Arrow Finanacial Services wanting me to pay the full amount I don't have the full amount. Any suggestions? Help please.

Does anyone know what company this number is for and who are they are? Thanks.

I hope this help some of you.My friend in NC was take to court for a credit card bill that he never payed but after I reserched on this site I found out the Statute of limitation ran out and the Judge throw it out. Link deleted as per forum rules - Mike

I am working through Alliance credit counseling to consolidate PDLs. I have new bank accounts and a new driver's liscense, but I am still scared to write a check. Do PDLs report you? All of my pdls were not storefront, so no checks were written. What has been the forum's experience with telecheck, scan, and all the other lovely check clearing companies?
