Can Judgment be removed from the credit file?

I live in AZ and was discharged four years ago from Chap 7. We had a judgment against us (filed before we filed for BK), which our attorney never filed a motion to avoid, thus it is still on our title. It expires in a week and could possibly be renewed. My question is if it is renewed will I still be able to get it removed, since the original debt was discharged in BK and there is nothing to collect anyway? Or, did my attorney mess up and cause us a big problem with this still active?

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you know I am still around. Had a little bit of personal crisis, plus hubby came home after being away for several weeks. I'll try to catch some of you in chat tonight. Rio Resources etc lawsuit- the attorney I spoke with locally told me in person that he has not handled a class action type suit before, and felt we needed someone with some experience. I'm waiting on call backs from some large firms that have a lot of expertise, some even have offices in multiple states, to see if anyone is interested in representing us.

 

Anyone know this number?

Can a storefront pay lender take you to court for nonpayment?They took a check up front, but I could not pay.It has been a while and I have not heard anything.I live in Maryland?

I just recieved a phone call from a Jeff Johnson at a number in Pennsylvania claiming that if I don't call him back today action will be taken against me. I googled the number, 215-320-0424, and it led me to a series of posts about how this company attempts to get social security numbers and bank account information from you. It also led me to a page on your website about Acadamy Services. Can you please tell me if you are affiliated with this company? Is this a real issue? As far as I know I don't have any outstanding bills.

I received an email for US FastCash regarding the debt verification letter I sent them. Along with the letter, I noted the finance charges, per the state of Indiana, they should be charging. They indicated in the letter: Quote:
...we are troubled when someone uses tactics such as yours...

Am I able to fax my PDL's advising them not to contact us at work or our references... is there any laws that they would have to follow regarding this. I'm handling the home calls real well... answering machine in another room and ringers turned off on phones. Friends and family have been use to being screened for years. I have a phone right by puter with caller id on it... if you come up and I want to talk I'll pick up... anything else gets dumped and 98% of the time I'm not returning your calls. I have one PDL calling my best friend and talking at great length to them about my loan...

Is it possible to settle my payday loans? I have few payday loans that I took online. Now the lenders are calling me all day and night (sometimes). Actually I did not have fund in my checking account on last pay date. They want the full amount or they will issue another loan. I donot want a new loan. Can you help me settle the loans? Also I have about $2K credit card debt. Can I settle it together?
