Victory is bittersweet when you defeat a payday lender. I finally recieved my reply from them and they stated in the response that they have marked our account paid in full and I get a refund.

I received this email today from oneclickcash. I wasnt trying to get out of paying them there money. They were going to be in my consolidation, but they must have been doing something they shouldnt have been doing LOL After a review, we have decided to write off the balance of your account. We have placed you in a "DO NOT LOAN" status. You will be ineligible for any future loan with us or any of our affiliates. Your account balance is now zero, and your account permanently closed.

Anyone heard of Academy Collection Agency

I just payed off a judgement. How many points should my credit score go up if any???? Paid it off Early if that matters. Also, If I pay off my collections will my credit score go up????

So they DO know how to validate a debt. Saturday's mail I received a statement from Asset...Stated my account number, telephone number it was for, Original creditor, last transaction date of 6/22/2000 (Which would make this 7 years sol of 6/2007 correct?) and the amount that I owe, and my personal info. I am impressed. I only had to ask about 5 times for this...lol Guess my disputing this account twice lit a fire under them. One more account to go with them..We'll see what they do. :)

Has anyone on here had to deal with these companies? I have to call them today and don't know what to say.

Hello everyone!! I have been in contact with a couple of debt consolidation companies. I have done the budgets, the bills, and what I need to get paid. It's just me and my daughter in the home and my ex pays the rent for us. I want to get all of my bills paid off to improve my credit and also to get the collectors off of my back. Is there anyway of doing this with the income that I have coming in and not being broke while doing it?

Has anyone noticed above that the payday lenders are posting websites? It is like they are trying to get people back into their web. I think advertising payday loans on this site should be banned.

Ok, I sent my letter last week, and today I got an email from Cash Transfer Centers. What should I do now?

I recently reviewed my credit report and saw about $1500 in medical bill collections. I had NO idea that these were outstanding and in collection. I am 24 and these medical bills were when I was 17-21. I was under the assumption that my parents paid those bills...because I never received medical bills when I was away at college. Is there any way to dispute them? Thanks.
