Who in the hell is Palisades Collection. I have look them up online and found nothing but complaints on them. I called them to see how I can settle a debt. They won't take a settlement and they told me it would take 90 days to hear from ATT Wireless. Or they will take $59 off my debt and once it is paid then they will remove it from my credit report. I tried calling them again because I had a question and I was on hold for 3.5 hours. Who in the hell are these people.

I want a company that can negotiate and while I am paying them, I want the creditors to remove the collection status of the debt. I have 2 cards that are in collection and one that is closed but still up to date with pymts. Please email (only use email) your assistance and my options.

One of my credit card debts was sent to the National Arbitration Forum. I replied to the notice from NAF and to the lawyer that I am currently in a debt settlement program, have been in for over a year and am currently trying to pay off my debts without having to declare bankruptcy. Now I have received a letter from NAF that the claimant (Chase) has requested that the matter be dismissed. What does this usually mean? I know that the NAF will no longer handle this matter.

I received an email from United Cash loans that, based on the fax I sent them last week and that I contacted legal assistance in VA, they are refunding me $300. Hey, it's better than nothing!! I think they are scared because they could be in for some serious fines from VA- $1000 per incident for lending to a VA resident, etc. Just thought I would offer up some good news! Dana

Hi guys, I've heard people talk about the "chase scam" here and there. Over the last couple of days I've gotten a few e-mails from them. I don't know who they are or what they do, but they have a customer # for me and tell me to click on a link to update my account info. The wording of the e-mails sounds like I have some sort of account with them. It tells me that if I don't update my account will be suspended until i do. Of course I haven't clicked on the links they're giving me, can anyone explain this to me?

I receaved a settlement offer and it says that it will be reported as "Paid and all collection activity on the account will stop" what do I need to do to make sure that the balacne they do not collect is not sold to another company. Any advice would help.

Any information at all regarding USAA accounts?
