Hello, I am just curious.....I see T&C mentioned quite a bit on the forums, and it seems like the majority of folks are quite pleased with their services. I am currently signed up with a credit counseling service, but I am a bit unhappy about their response time to my questions. I do have my own individual credit counselor, but I am gathering that she is swamped with work, because everytime I e-mail her with a question I get pushed off because she has appointments back to back.

Today is my big day, I have changed checking accounts, and the payday loans should start calling and I'm ready to settle with them...however I called T&C to help me, and they don't work wtih North Carolina residents. Does anyone have another reputable company that can help me? I'd really rather have a company help me who has experience with this than just dealing with them alone. Ideas?

Hi, My spouse has some debt from a previous marriage and divorce. THe lions share of it has been taken care, only after my father loaned us a large amount of money in order to get out from under his car loan that they were trying to accrue up to 7% interest PER DAY. My question now is that his credit is showing a report for $769 with Palisade, which was originally an AT*T cell phone debt. He actually did has this debt, but we have NEVER received anything regarding this debt. The only way we even know about it is through credit checks.

folks, i am looking for a little advice on how/where i can use a service like this. i have 30k in high interest cc debt and looking for a solution.....not a miracle. pc

Are there any statutes of limitations regarding how long a debt such as credit card and apartment lease stays on one's credit report. This debt is from 1998.

I received a call this morning from Mr. Maurer. He says he was calling from Pre-legal Security Systems on behalf of Payday To Go. Anyway, I asked him for a telephone number so my attorney can call him, all he would give was a fax number. He said that he will be contacting my employer to subpeona them so I can have my wages garnished. So I informed him, I live in Texas they only garnish student loans,IRS and child support. So he told me he would go after my assets.

has anyone encountered problems with payday lenders not accepting payments from T&C.. if so what have you guys done to get around this? what lenders were they? i have around 13 loans out wiht various companies and T&C just received the payment from me yesterday. i just wanted to know if im going to have any trouble.. thanks in advance

In December of 2000 my ex and I split up. I moved from the appartment that we lived in and she stayed. I signed the necessary documents to remove my name from the lease. She refused to sign the lease papers but stayed in the appartment for two months. They then evicted her for non payment. It is on my credit report now that I owe them over $700 for the two months that I didn't live there. I disputed this item on my credit report. About two days later I received an email saying the debt was valid. How can I fight this? Thanks, Ryan

OK, so I had an interesting phone call from a woman at Superior Asset Management this morning. She called on what I thought was a long ago settled Cingular account claiming that I owed $16.16. I had dealt with Superior last summer when I thought I originally settled the account and asked that she check her records to see that I had paid off the account. She looks back and sees that my only payment history is one large sum of roughly $175 last June, but that I had left a $16.16 balance.
