America Online stopped collection activities

19 years 5 months ago
So I assumed my AOL account was cancelled since my automatic payments were returned. They kept stating that my account was going to cancelled. Finally in December I had to call and cancel it even though payments were not made on the account. When I spoke to the rep I explained this to her and she said well you still owe like $76. I contacted the BBB in Florida and explained the whole situation. Well on Friday I got a letter from AOL stating I knew this and it was in my contract, etc.

Written off debts

Bankruptcy score

19 years 5 months ago
Did you know you have another score on your credit report besides the regular score that we all know? Its called a bankruptcy score and its used secondary to the credit score and lets the potential creditor know how likely you are to file bankruptcy? It has been going on for about 20 years and kept under wraps so that you can never see it as a consumer.
