I am seeking info on interstates compliance, a man named don freeman (freedman?) Called me, very rude, threatened to download file and have me arrested if my attorney did not call him within 1 hour, when my attorney called back, mr freeman hung up on him. Do not know what this is regarding. Any info?

Asset Acceptance changed date of debt on my credit report with the credit bureaus! is this legal the last date on the sbc debt i have was back in 2000, but now asset acceptance has bought it i presume?

Anyone ever had to deal with National Action Financial Services, Inc. (NAFS)? Last week two of my Sears accounts were purchased and placed with NAFS. I have been working with a debt settlement company for over a year. Things had been going well, but about a month ago my advisor with the debt settlement company quit without notice. Unfortunetly, clients were not informed of this. She had done an amazing job over the past year with my creditors. Now that she's gone things seem to be unraveling. I'm hoping once they get reorganized things will improve again.

I got this letter from some company that said they bought my debt from another company which I had never heard of, listed as creditor. Then on the next line is says original creditor, another company I have never heard of. in the amount of 6007.00 I have never browered that much from anyone other than our bank. And they have been paid off. it says they will settle for 2402.00 how can I find out what the story is with these people and who they are.

Recieved 2 letters today, from this company. Both state they are attempting to collect for Asset Acceptance. Including the account with incorrect name still being used!! Sent validation requests regarding both accounts and after 6 weeks, or a bit over, I never heard back from the original letters. Now, as I can get new letters printed, I'm gonna send several new letters out, CM-RRR requesting validation of account(s). Is there anything else I should do first, before sending DV letter(s)?? Probably won't be going out until next week anyway.

Not all of them are, unfortunately, and it's tough to tell which ones are on the up and up. Well, some are certainly on the down and down, what I am about to describe to you is something I really hope is an isolated incident. Back at Protocol, I came across an account that was being mediated by Provanta, I called them and they faxed me a power of attorney to speak on his behalf.

I am tired of dealing with this company. I have a case against them and everything has been documented. Does anyone know how I can start a class action law suit against them?

So I got our bill for Dish Network today. We have subscribed to the Top 120 for about 6 years now. 6 years ago, you still had to BUY your dish and equipment. In the past couple of years, it's become like the cable company where it's included in your bill. So I open the bill, and SURPRISE, the rates went up $2. I knew that was coming. But they were so kind to include a new channel line-up card. So I start to read down the list...And count about 5 channels I never noticed before. So I go to turn them on, and can't get them. Hmmm So I call and ask the lady why.
