I have requested they stop calling me at work and they continue to do it on a daily basis? Has anyone found a way to make them stop? I'm at my wit's end. Does anyone have a fax number for them. Maybe if I fax a do not call me letter they will stop.

Hello All!! I've read some posts about Cap One not reporting a credit limit. I noticed on my CR that my acct is open but no limit. This is the only card we have & haven't used it for years...paying & paying. We have missed several payments in the past but have been current for a year now. So my account according to the bureaus is maxed out & hurts my score. Something just isn't right about that. Maybe I just answered my own question. yup? nope? Maybe it will help someone else. I got a call last night from Workman's Law office--really Harold Scherr's collection agency. They threatened to sue me and wanted my checking acct #. I told them no. The credit card was with Orchard Bank and I called Orchard who said they'd sold it to Collect America and there was nothing they could do. How can I not deal with Workman and get back to dealing with Orchard? Is it possible? A debt counseling company told me I had to get Workman to send me something in writing showing how much I owed.

This number shows up on caller ID--- 410-986-0085 A woman leaves an automated voice message giving you her hours to call back. this is the number she gives you on the message. The above number shows up on the caller ID. 1-800-688-3370 I called it back and the message says its NCO systems. since I'm not dealing with NCO, I'm wondering what they want. Maybe one of the Dell accounts got sold to them. well, it has to be Dell or wells Fargo. All of my other accounts are being paid, or paid off. Anyone know what NCO specializes in?

I sent a fax requesting a validation letter from Certified Recovery Systems (FSM loan). They have now sent one back to me and they still won't make payment arrangements. They say I have to sent the full amount in within 10 days. I am the only working member in my family and I can't cough up $420.00 right now. Will they pursue legal actions? What should I do now?

Hi all, I am 25, a teacher and a grad student, and have succeeded in racking up some huge debts. I have nearly 13,000 in credit cards (mostly from tuition, car expenses, and car insurance bills), a 17,000 loan for my car, plus all my education loans. I've only rarely had a late payment, have never defaulted or had any negative "dings" on my credit report (I think my credit score is a 680), and only just recently fear that my debts are too huge for me to swallow. I need to move in a few months, and am scared to death of what will happen if I'm unable to pay my bills on time.

Yes can anyone tell me if 2 collection agencies can collect on the same debt at the same time,didn't even know about them till my credit report was just pulled, wasn't even contacted by them at all.Who do I pay the creditor or which one of the CA's?
