can you help with payday loans and vredit cards

Had financial difficulties in 99/00. Owed Household 15K. It was charge off in 01/00. Household sold to Asset AC and they report 20K owed on CRA. It is past the SOL in PA. Problem is for military clearance I have to list debts as it will show on CRA when they pull report which will be before 01/07. If I pay AAC now, it will screw me for 7 more years. I am not legally liable but they are not reporting a charge off at 0 balance like Household. (I would have no problem, then). They are reporting as if it was never charge off and I owe the 20K.

How do I go about paying charge off acounts if I no longer have the account #'s and other info?

Does anybody have a number for this company?

Has anyone heard of Elite Recovery Services? They have been looking at my credit report and I don't know why?

My sister just called me because she and her finace are having money trouble. They own their home but have taken out a second mortgage to improve it in the last 2 years. They have alot of credit card debt that they are having trouble paying off. Can they borrow against their house to consolidate their debt or refinance? Please offer any suggestions that may help them. Thanks.

I requested the credit report to Experian and found same error (MCYDSNB). I disputed this to Experian. Should I check the other two (Equifax and TransUnion) whether they contain the same error? Or disputing with Experian will also correct my credie report with the other agencies?

This is on my credit report as a credit card for $2703.00 Opened 10/2002 and in collection since 12/2005. This is acually a credit card I had charged off in 9/2000 with a ballance of only $900.00. I have disputed it with Experian and they said the company said it was correct. I then called LVNV and they verified the correct info but will not change it on my report or send antthing to me in writing to varify the account. Any ideas? :x

Once upon a time I was very good at paying off my cc's every month! Then I would only use them for tuition or maybe a vacation, then pay off and they would be inactive for like ever. Well I just recieved my credit report, it indicates I had 4 or 5 American Express cards, the time active did not overlap for any of them. They would close my account "by creditor" and issue me a newone with a new number everytime.
