I've been harassed and I've talked to supervisors, complained to state federal gov't. This debt is not mine and now it looks like its going to court and I can't afford it even though I know I'll win (that initial money for an attorney isn't growing on a tree that I can see). What do i do, will they really take me to court over 3,900 something (most of which is interest) for an account that was my exes that I was only an authorized user on (they swear the account was in my name but I didn't even trust the guy enough to cosign let alone take the account out in my name).

Has anyone been contacted by them? Do they actually follow through with their threats? This debt is not mine and I've got the proof but I don't have the money to go to court even though I'm in the right. I was told by people to sit back, but now I'm worried that its going to come to court. Also does anyone know the legal term for these people collecting debt they know is not getting paid and expecting payment. There is one out there and I can't think of what it is, saw and article once and lost it....

I am just overwhelmed with payday loans, I have closed checking account (hope its not illegal) but am trying to contact all, anyone know of Premier processing, antilles venture, and apple payday. Any help would be appreciated, this is just a nightmare.

I sent dispute letters to the CRA's and I recived a form letter that basically explains what can and can't stay on the credit report. This is a general letter and does not address any of the items I disputed. What is the next step??? Does this constitue a reply within 30 days???

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone knew a good and legitimate debt consolidation company they could recommend to me. I have heard some horror stories of scumbag companies taking advantage of people in these types of situations. I would also like to know how much will being in a program like this lower your credit score? Thanx, Chris

I have a question...I know that in the past (recently actually), I had a CA call me about an account, and he started naming off my Mortgage info and accounts I had paid off, asking why I wouldn't pay them in full. (at the time I paid the other CA, I actually had money to do so), anyways, I was wondering if all CA's can pull your credit, and what does that do to your credit when they do? It seems like they should not be allowed to pull your credit file since they are not the original creditor and I never signed any agreement with them.

A few months ago Bank of America started a program where they will transfer the the change from Debit card purchases from your checking account to your savings account at the end of every day. For example say you spent $5.25 on lunch, then $.75 will be transfered. Now say you spend $32.01 on gas, the $.99 will be added to your $.75 and transfered as $1.74. In addition, for the first three months, they will match dollar for dollar what they transfer. After that it is matched at 5% a year.

My credit score stinks. We had some hard financial problems that last 8 or 9 years. I checked my credit score and it is in the poor section. I declared bankruptcy in 1997 and still did not learn. Well the last year I have learned what I did and now I am paying for it. Since the middle of last year I found a 2nd job and payed off all the payday loans I got into and now I am paying off the credit cards I had. All credit cards were sent to agencies because I had not paid on any. Now they are offering me settlements and I am paying them off one by one.
